Course Highlights

Handgun Training Includes:

• Firearms safety & proper operation
• Ammunition selection & maintenance
• Shooting techniques & multiple target engagement
• Concealed carry draw-and-fire skills
• Movement under attack & team-based drills
• Low-light shooting & scenario-based training
• Evacuation, formation, and protective drills

Shotgun Training Includes:

• Fundamentals & safe operation
• Shotgun mechanics & maintenance
• Weapon transition drills
• Final qualification shooting

What's Included in Tuition:

• Classroom and live-fire range instruction
• Use of Glock 19 and all essential gear (optional)
• Eye and ear protection, holsters, magazines, flashlights
• Single occupancy lodging
• Official certificates issued by EPI

What You'll Need:

• Ammunition: 1,000 rounds (recommended)
• Optional: Bring your own handgun and gear
• Suggested items: Knee pads, concealment clothing, gloves, hat, sunscreen

Certification & Compliance:

This course is Virginia DCJS Certified and fulfills the following requirements:

• 07E – Basic Handgun
• 09E – Advanced Handgun
• 08E – Shotgun

Graduates are eligible for firearms endorsements to operate as an Armed Personal Protection Specialist in Virginia.

Note: If carrying concealed while working, you must have a valid concealed handgun permit recognized by Virginia and a letter from your employer authorizing armed duty.
